Guest Terms & Conditions of Stay

These terms govern your booking and stay at Villa Zambala. Villa Zambala is owned and operated by Zambala Beach House ("we", "us", or "our"). By paying a deposit or signing a booking confirmation, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.
Rates
All rates for accommodation in Bali are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to applicable Government tax and service charges as listed on the invoice. All payments must be made to the US Dollar account detailed on the invoice. The sender is responsible for ensuring the full amount is received, including any bank fees incurred in the transfer of currency.
Payments & cancellations
- 20% deposit due within 7 working days of invoice.
- Balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
- Payments are committed to your reservation once received.
- Date changes or credits may be considered at management discretion.
All payments are to be received in full, net of any bank charges. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, personal belongings, medical expenses, and liability, in case of any unexpected changes to your plans.
Occupancy
The number of guests staying at the villa must not exceed the maximum number of guests listed in the booking confirmation. Maximum occupancy includes children. Villa Zambala reserves the right to refuse any booking that exceeds the listed maximum occupancy.
Inclusions
- Breakfast — full daily breakfast is included in all rates. All other meals are quoted from the villa menus.
- Airport transfers — return airport transfers are included.
- Villa Manager and Butlers — available throughout your stay, until 11 pm where required.
Travel insurance & documentation
Villa Zambala strongly recommends that all guests obtain appropriate travel and medical insurance. It is the guests' sole responsibility to ensure that every member of the booking party holds the documentation required to comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia for entry and visitation.
Villa Zambala will not provide refunds where guests do not hold appropriate travel documentation, miss their flights or travel connections, or where flights or travel connections are delayed or cancelled. Villa Zambala takes no responsibility for any acts or omissions by guests or invitees that are illegal or breach any law or regulation of the Republic of Indonesia.
Damages & liability
Villa Zambala is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment or property during your stay. We do not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control, including but not limited to late international flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
On arrival, guests will be required to:
- Sign a Waiver of Liability and a credit card authorisation form, allowing Villa Zambala to charge the card for any charges incurred during the stay. The form must be accompanied by photocopies of both sides of the credit card used, a photocopy of the cardholder's passport, and written authorisation from the cardholder.
- Provide passports (or KTP cards, where applicable) to the Villa Manager on duty for registration with the local authorities.
If the lead guest refuses to sign the waiver and authorisation form, or if any guest refuses to provide passport or KTP copies as required, the booking will be deemed cancelled.
The guest is responsible for leaving the villa in good order and clean condition. The guest will be liable for any loss or damage to the villa during their stay, including damage resulting from a breach of the Villa Guidelines. Villa Zambala reserves the right to repossess the premises if the guest or any of their invitees causes damage to the property.
Acceptance
By paying a deposit and/or signing the booking confirmation, you agree on behalf of all registered guests to the above terms and conditions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your stay.
